The conditions for a person to be recognized as a native of Sarawak are as follows:
(a) He/She is a Malaysian citizen;
(b) He/She is a natural born child of a race indigenous to Sarawak; and
(c) One of his/her parents is a person of a race indigenous to Sarawak.
The requirements for a person to be recognized as a native of Sarawak includes:
(a) A minor may apply through one of his/her parents/guardians and such application must be signed on behalf of the minor by the parent/guardian;
(b) A fee of RM100 per application shall be imposed as per the Fees (Application of Recognition as a Native of Sarawak) Order, 2023
