Bantuan Ihsan Kematian - also known as ‘BIK’
exclusively for Sarawakians which will only be given
to beneficiaries of RM 3000 when the eligible
cardholder passes away.

1) You can apply online on ‘iSarawakCare’ or;
2) Submit manual application form to State
Welfare Departments, Resident office, District
and Sub-district offices state-wide.

1) Filled by their beneficiary after the Kenyalang
Gold Card (KGC) holder passes away
2) KGC cardholders that does not receive death
benefit from Public Service Department (JPA)
(Government Retirees)
3) Senior residents in government institutions are
not eligible to apply
4) Beneficiary to claim BIK must be made within
the period of 4 months (120 days) after the
KGC applicant passed away.

1) Prepare all the mandatory supporting
documents required.
2) Make sure the supporting documents required
are correct and clear.

Prepare supporting document:
1) Deceased KGC Card / Application Slip / JKMS
Confirmation Letter;
2) Copy and Original Death Certificate of the KGC
Cardholder;
3) Copy of beneficiary's bank account number;
4) Copy of beneficiary's identity card;
5) Certified by Community Head / Tribal Head /
Village Head / Tuai Rumah; and
6) Other documents if applicable.
