Application for Transfer of Ownership of Rateable Holdings

To ensure that the assessment rate bills are issued to the correct owner(s), whenever there is any change in ownership of a property (rateable holding) within a local authority's adminstrative area, it is the duty of seller/transferor and the purchaser/ transferee is required to give notice of transfer to the council by apply for transfer of ownership. The notice shall include: 1. Form F if the rateable holding is sold/transferred 2. Form G if the owner of rateable holding deceased
  1. The seller/transferor
  2. The purchaser/ transferee
  3. Third party on behalf of owner (Solicitor / legal administrator only - cover letter is required)
All outstanding assessment bill must be paid in full up to the latest bill for the year under the ward-file applied.
  • if applicant apply before payment due on first half of the year
    • To pay all assessment bill up to First Half 2020 (Jan-June 2020)
  • if applicant apply after first half of the year
    • To pay all assessment bill up to Second Half (July-Dec 2020)
